Working closely with colleagues across RLRH’s global offices and programmes, the postholder will help ensure administrative processes are delivered efficiently, records are maintained accurately, and colleagues receive timely, high-quality support.
Candidates should have experience providing high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced environment—preferably within higher education, research, or the charity sector. Essential attributes include excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, proficiency with digital productivity tools, sound numeracy skills, initiative, and demonstrated cultural humility.

Partnerships Manager (Professional Pathways Pillar)

The Partnerships Manager will cultivate dynamic relationships with prospective employer hosts across Africa and globally—spanning (I)NGOs, research institutions, and the private sector—to build a robust pipeline of professional placements. Serving as the primary PPP technical liaison for Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program university partners, the postholder will lead the mainstreaming of refugee-inclusive professional transitions across the higher education ecosystem to help realize ambitious goals of enrolling 110 trainees and facilitating 130 professional placements by 2028.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in partnership development, stakeholder management, and widening participation, ideally within the African context. Working familiarity with refugee professional advancement, economic inclusion, and higher education access is essential, alongside excellent relationship-building skills, experience developing and managing institutional partnerships, strong project coordination capabilities, and excellent cultural humility.

This role is central to RLRH’s expanding career advancement programming across its hubs, in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program network. Combining strategic programme design with direct support, the Transitions Manager will deliver 1:1 career coaching, group workshops, and application support, equipping affiliates to navigate workforce barriers. As services expand, the postholder will also help build and supervise a growing careers function and provide technical guidance to university and employer partners.
Candidates should have significant experience in career guidance, employability, or talent development, alongside a proven track record of designing and delivering career readiness programmes. Expertise supporting refugees or individuals facing barriers to employment is essential, as is a strong grasp of labour market trends (particularly within the African context), excellent cultural humility, and a commitment to advancing refugee leadership.
