Achuony Akuak

Achuony provides operational support to RLRH’s major programmatic activities. He is passionate about providing efficient operational support, particularly in finance and administration, to initiatives that empower refugees to become leaders in their communities.

Achuony is currently pursuing an MBA in Project Management at Daystar University. This builds on his BA in Management with a Concentration in Logistics and Operations from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). He has over 5 years of operational experience in the humanitarian setting, with a recent role in procurement and logistics at Jesuit Refugee Service, where he supported the operational efficiency of programs that support refugees and other forcibly displaced individuals. He also has graphic design skills, which he leverages in combination with his experience of displacement to champion for refugee rights through informative banners and infographics.

During his personal time, you will find Achuony outdoors seeking adventure through hiking and biking. He recently conquered Mt. Longonot and has other major summits on his list. He also enjoys engaging his mind through chess and writing, with his first major creative writing project currently in progress.
