Buhendwa Iragi
Research Lead
Buhendwa Iragi is a Research Lead at RLRH where he leverages his lived experienced of forced displacement to inform his research and advocacy for the rights of refugees. He completed his studies in International Relations and Security Studies at Daystar University, Nairobi, Kenya.
Prior to joining RLRH, he worked for Amnesty International’s Great Lakes, East, and Horn of Africa Regional office, focusing on advocacy, campaigning and research on refugees and migrants. He is the co-founder of RUSEP, a refugee-led organisation that promotes youth innovation, arts, talent, entrepreneurship and research in Kenya.
