Epa Ndahimana
Research Officer
Epa Ndahimana is an economist working as a Research Officer at the RLRH Kampala Office, where he leads a study on the postgraduate admissions and enrolment experiences of displaced scholars in Uganda. His work brings together research, policy, and lived experience to strengthen opportunities for forcibly displaced people in higher education and development.
He holds a BA in Human Rights from Makerere University, an MSc by Research in Agricultural and Food Economics from the University of Reading, and an MSc in Environment and Business Management from Bangor University in the United Kingdom. His academic background supports his interdisciplinary focus on financing refugee economies, meaningful education for the displaced, sustainable livelihoods, clean energy transitions, and inclusive development.
Epa has contributed to several initiatives focused on inclusion, climate action, and refugee-led development. His professional experience includes serving as an inclusivity analyst for the Global Platform for Action on Sustainable Energy in Displacement Settings (GPA) at the UN. Consulting on meaningful inclusion of displaced persons for the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) at the Community Engagement Forum. He has also worked with Ashden Climate Solutions in Action to analyse financing for clean energy transitions through refugee-led private initiatives.
