Oudai Tozan 

Dr Oudai Tozan is the Director of Academic Programmes at the Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) at the University of Oxford. In his role, Oudai supervises a team of 8 colleagues and several programmes, including Graduate Horizons, Graduate Foundations, and Graduate Essentials. 

Prior to joining RLRH, Oudai completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge, focusing on education reform in Syria and exiled academics. He taught several modules at the University of Cambridge and the University of Anglia Ruskin, including Sociology of Education, Research Methods, Education, Global Inequalities and Social Justice. Oudai also worked at the University of Cambridge worked as a mentor for students with disabilities and as a principal invigilator for several research grants on the political economy of the education sector in Syria.

Oudai has established the Syrian academics and researchers network in the UK, a network committed to supporting refugee academics. Previously, he also founded and managed the International Syrian Association for Education Development, an international network comprising over 150 researchers, academics, and professionals working on projects to support refugees in accessing education. 

In his personal time, Oudai enjoys doing sports and spending quality time with family and friends.
