Pauline Vidal

Pauline Vidal is the Senior Research Facilitator at RLRH where she provides training and mentorship in all aspects of the research process. Prior to joining RLRH, she was the Research Manager of the Independent Monitoring, Research and Evidence Facility (IMREF), where she led six studies exploring protection-related challenges faced by transit migrants on the Central Mediterranean Route. She has conducted fieldwork with people affected by migration and displacement in Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and Mauritania. She is a graduate of the double master’s program in International Affairs between SciencesPo Paris and the London School of Economics. Pauline is also an emerging documentary filmmaker. Her latest short documentary THE RELEASE (2023), co-directed with Myriam Amri, premiered at the 2024 Hot Docs festival.
