Wangui Njau

Wangui is the RLRH East Africa Operations Coordinator, based at the RLRH Nairobi Hub. In this role, she oversees the administrative, HR, and financial frameworks that support RLRH’s mission across the region. She is responsible for ensuring operational compliance and leads efforts in organisational culture, staff wellbeing, and office expansion.

With a background in psychology and extensive experience in humanitarian operations, Wangui is passionate about creating inclusive work environments. Prior to joining RLRH, she worked at Catholic Relief Services in Sudan, where she navigated complex operations within an active crisis environment. She also spent several years at Save the Children International, managing HR functions for a huge workforce across Kenya and Madagascar. Her experience in the displacement sector began in Kakuma where she coordinated logistics and administration within the refugee settlement.

Wangui holds a B.A. in Psychology from the United States International University-Africa. Beyond her professional duties, she is a dedicated volunteer, contributing to community health programs and international humanitarian advocacy.
